Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (EPCRA) Tier II forms

Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (EPCRA) Tier II forms

Reminder: Every March 1st, facilities covered by EPCRA must submit an emergency and hazardous chemical inventory form to the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), the State Emergency Response Committee (SERC) and the local fire department annually for the previous calendar year. Many hospitals have materials, chemicals and/or fuels above the EPCRA reporting thresholds of 10,000 pounds. Don’t forget to look at the capacity of both above and below ground tanks. Some hospitals also have Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHS), which is a specific list with thresholds of 500 pounds or less.

EPCRA Tier 2 trainings in New England are being organized, see conferences for some upcoming dates.
