About the Presenter

Beth Doehner – Design Development Manager, Tarkett

Beth Doehner is a Design Development Manager for the resilient flooring division of Tarkett. She works with both end users and the architecture and design community in Boston, focusing on healthcare and education segments. Beth has worked with commercial interior finishes for almost 20 years and has a passion for sustainable design. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and earned a Master’s Degree in management from Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss green building design trends centered around occupants and performance.
  • Discuss emerging tools for communication and performance evaluation.
  • Review green building system updates and new systems gaining momentum.
  • Address the necessary balance in relationship between people and the environment.
