ASHE, The American Society for Health Care Engineering of the American Hospital Association, has approved 1.25 contact hour (1.25 CEC) for this webinar.

Presenter: Frank Pappalardo, CHMS – Manager / Principal, Innovative Environmental LLC.

Frank has over 40 years of facility cleaning, maintenance and construction experience. His experience spans over a number of industries, including healthcare, higher education, municipal, and commercial/industrial properties. He holds a World Safety Organization Certified Hazardous Material Supervisor certificate, Massachusetts Department of Fire Services certificate of competency and a Connecticut contractor’s license and is a member of NFPA.

Learning Objectives:

1.    Understand what resources are available and how to find what you’re looking for, including a review of applicable sections of NFPA 1 and NFPA 96, along with International Mechanical Sode and Plumbing.

2.    Review common misconceptions when maintaining or constructing a commercial kitchen exhaust system.

3.    Know how to identify if your system is being maintained properly.

4.    Review state and local requirements for reporting and record keeping
