CEH has updated our publicly available Database of Single-Use Food Service Ware Products Tested for Fluorinated Additives. Recent changes include:
  • A transition of the database over to Google Sheets;
  • 46 additional test results including for 2 products that have been reformulated to no longer use PFAS;
  • The addition of the Compost Manufacturing Alliance’s (CMA) “Composter Approved” designation for products in the database.
As of January 1, 2020, purchasers will be able to use the Biodegradable Products Institute’s list of certified products to identify compostable food service ware that does not contain PFAS.
