Chapter Information

The Objectives of the Massachusetts Chapter:
  • To promote enhancement of the patient care environment by taking advantage of the latest developments in healthcare facility management, design, operation and maintenance techniques available.
  • To discuss and promote the mutual exchange of technical ideas and experiences amongst members of the Society.
  • To promote the professional development of healthcare engineers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts through continuous education.

Eligibility and Membership

Any person employed directly by a hospital, healthcare provider organization or medical research facility who has administrative, management or supervisory responsibility for the tasks and areas which fall within the broad field of healthcare engineering is eligible for membership.

MHFPS Membership Application

Massachusetts Scholarship Available!

The Active Member Scholarship shall be awarded to Active Members pursuing a degree or ASHE-sponsored education.

A single scholarship shall be awarded on a rolling basis until all funds have been allocated. The amount awarded to an active member is $500.
